The film, produced by Jefter Phiri, follows a passionate schoolgirl, Tionge, as she champions reforestation and climate action—even when it means challenging her own family’s role in charcoal production.
At the heart of a packed premiere, BCP COO Michael Mailloux reminded us that storytelling isn’t just entertainment—it’s a catalyst for change, which is why BCP is investing in creative media that educates, empowers, and helps protect our forests for future generations.
Before the film, we screened “Guardians of the Forest,” a moving documentary that highlights BCP’s conservation impact and our sustainable livelihood initiatives transforming lives across Zambia.
